These raku fired ceramics are the creation of artist Blue Firth. She sources her clay from the home of English pottery, Stoke on Trent which she then fires up to 1000 degrees Celsius in a kiln, in line with the Japanese raku tradition. Each piece is handmade in her Nottingham studio, exhibiting a humble and calming aesthetic through broad, irregular painted brushstrokes.
