Developed by Japanese brand KNA Plus, PLECO tote bags are all about texture. From their Kusha Crumpled Tote to their Tate Pleated Tote, it is their play on the typical smoothness of totes which draws the eye. Their materials incorporate polylactic acid (PLA) and recycled polyester as one. PLA is a bioplastic and is derived from renewable sources such as starch or sugar cane. First the sugar is fermented and turned into lactic acid which then is made into polylactic acid. Recycled polyester is essentially recycled plastic bottles. The combination of the two create vibrant, flexible bags which can be shown-off at any occasion.
