Originally based in Switzerland and now operating in Japan, The Naval Watch Company have a long and esteemed history. Renowned for helping to pioneer luminous dials during the 20th Century, the brand can now be found in the Yurakucho district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, a district with a global reputation for watch manufacture.
Yurakucho has long inspired Garbstore's very own Ian Paley, who has been trawling the collectors market in the Chiyoda district in search of vintage timepieces for many years now. His design follows that of many classic 1960s dress watches that he has found on the stalls of those very markets.
